Artist Statement

Ancient stories passed down through generations give us the ability to magnify our gaze. My hand-drawn pastel art is deeply rooted in my inner life and profound love for animals and nature. Interwoven with mythology and folk tales, my work serves as a doorway, allowing us to transcend the visible and explore new possibilities. It acts as a creative mirror, inspiring both reflection and discovery.

In 2020, the world changed, and so did my life. That year marked the beginning of a two-year quest to rebuild my health, self-esteem, and rekindle my creative fire. Leaving behind a financially successful but creatively draining corporate design career, I found myself at midlife, unsure of my next steps. The cycle of burnout, chaos, and illness, culminating in significant personal loss, led me to a profound realization: I yearned for more—more passion, connection, and creativity in every aspect of my life.

I took the risk to be authentically myself, dedicating my efforts to building a meaningful art business. My mission is to fulfill my passion and help others find or reconnect with theirs. I create art to bring joy and serve my community, providing tools and guidance to ignite or reignite their creative fire with simple, proven, and effective steps.
